We can offer customized Yoga Classes for each student’s level of proficiency and ability. Special Yoga Classes can be designed for persons with health disorders or chronic conditions. A suggested outline of Yoga Classes for Beginners is given below.

Suggested Yoga Course for Beginners – 15 lessons

1st Lesson – Introduction to Yoga – Asana, Pranayama, Mudra and Bandha

2nd Lesson – 5 minutes Meditation, Tadasana (heavenly stretch pose), Triyak Tadasana, Trikonasana, Kati Chakrasana, Makrasana, Adwasana, Shavasana, Abdominal breathing, Chest breathing, Breath Awareness & Meditation (Shanti Path)

3rd Lesson  – Pawan Muktasana (part-1), Marjari Asana, Abdominal breathing, chest breathing, Bhramri pranayama

4th Lesson  – Pawan Muktasana (part-1), Spinal Twisting, Bhujangasana yogic breathing, Nadi Sodhan Pranayama (stage 1 and 2), Bhramari Pranayama

5th Lesson  – Naukasana (Boat pose), Salbhasana, Shashankasana, Dhanurasana, Paschimotanasana, Nadi Sodhan Pranayama (Anulom – Bilom), Kapalbhati

6th Lesson – Naukasana, Yognidra & Meditation

7th Lesson (Bonus Lesson) – Review of earlier lessons and instructions to correct any errors in the practice.

8th Lesson – Pawan Muktasana (part- 2), Kandhrasana, Chakki Chalnasana, Bhastrika Pranayama

9th Lesson - Pawan Muktasana (part- 2), Naukasanchalasana, Suptaudrakarshan, Shitli Pranayama.

10th Lesson- Relaxation exercises, Ajapa & Meditation

11th Lesson (Bonus Lesson) - Review of earlier lessons and instructions to correct any errors in the practice.

12th Lesson – Surya Namaskara, Sav udrakarshan, Pranayama & Jalandhar Bandh

13th Lesson – Surya Namaskara with breath, Ardhmatsyendrasana / Meru Bakrasana, Pranayama & Uddiyan Bandh.

14th Lesson – Surya Namaskara with Mantra, Matsyakridasan, Pranayama, Mulbandh & Mahabandh

15th Lesson (Bonus Lesson)- Review of earlier lessons and instructions to correct any errors in the practice.
